NEW UHS PHARMACY AT WILSON PLACE
A new, state-of-the-art retail pharmacy has opened in Johnson City. The UHS Pharmacy at Wilson Place, on the ground floor of 52 Harrison St., is on the campus of UHS Wilson Medical Center.
The new location is ideal for patients visiting physician offices, the UHS Ambulatory Surgery Center or the UHS Pre-Admission Testing Department, all located in the same building. It’s also convenient for hospital patients, employees and those who live or work in the area.
The pharmacy uses a locally invented medication-dispensing robot. Developed by Innovation, a Johnson City-based company, the robotic device accurately counts medications, puts them into their proper containers, labels them and dispenses them for pharmacists to give to customers.
In addition to the new Wilson Place site, UHS currently operates retail pharmacies at UHS Vestal and at 1302 E. Main Street in Endicott. All three pharmacies provide personal service, competitive pricing and maximum convenience, accepting all major insurance plans.
